When the watcher came into view the spirit escaped. The ghost of an old witch was observed attempting to articulate something in Barre Common District on a dark night. The ghost mumbled about avenging a homicide. A gentleman with a sizeable       hole through his chest materialized under a tree in Barre State Forest struggling to seize something. The onlooker was frightened and ran off. One of the local residents definitely argues that this phantom likes terrifying foolhardy folks who come trying to find phantoms in Barre. A gentleman having the head of a beast was made out at Bell Brook   after midnight hurling boulders into the water. The ghost did not appear to be anxious by the observers. No matter what people state, this ghost sure is frightening; one that you do not want to come across at midnight. A female on fire, clutching a fuel container has repeatedly been seen bass fishing from the water's edge of Adams Pond in the early morning hours. Some of the folks who live here say this ghost can be the spirit of a person who lived here who died here in Barre some time ago. The ghost of a youthful air force pilot has allegedly been observed on a few occasions after midnight fluttering over the Burnshirt Hills. A female with a bottle-green face can repeatedly be spotted by Barre Falls Dam at the stroke of midnight staring at the water. A man having a sword in his head can be seen very frequently cleaning a blood-splattered scarf in Barre Falls on a dark night. According to the residents, this ghost may very well be a famous yesteryear native of Barre. The ghost of a mailman has occasionally been observed struggling to dump a body in Blood Swamp late in the night.
