Becket, Massachusetts Ghost Tales I've lived in Becket for over twenty years. This is not a ghost story but a strange coincidence. I bought an old farm that was settled in the mid 1800's that was used as a stagecoach stop and home for only a few families since it was built. The time I had bought it, there was only a house with fields. I became friends with one of the original members of the family who grew up here. One time he came to visit and he noticed the barn I had built for my horses was in the exact spot his father built theirs. In fact I had a wagon parked in the same spot they had theirs, and my two horses looked and had habits very similar to his. In fact I have lived a very similar life to them, and planted gardens in the same places too. Although, I do remember seeing a ghost of a woman in the window upstairs that I think once lived here, and a friend who didn't know this also saw the same woman. Haven't seen her since, but I often see spirits of my animals that I have lost over the years from time to time. When I sat up there was a little girl she looked like she was only 4 years old and she was in a white dress. She was at the end of my bed, she was smiling at me then she just disappeared in to thin air.   I am not the only one who has seen this either. Apparently from what I've heard 4 horses died one night when they froze to death on the property. We have heard ''things'' I say things because my girlfriend and I differ on what we have heard. Can anyone collaborate this? We are a bit macabre and the house will soon feature a Silent Hill sign and the quarter windows that were in the Amityville house. We invite the weird odd and demented.
