One of the worst things that happened was I was home alone with my older sister, it was late and we were watching TV. We heard one of the doors leading in to our house open then close, then we heard foot steps. My sister made me call my aunt and begged her to get us, she told us to calm down and nothing happened. Then the power went out, we ran upstairs, it was pitch black, we heard the footsteps again. I was scared, my house is definitely haunted.

living there for almost my whole life made me realize that the ghosts that are there aren't bad. Submitted by Olivia

A few years ago I woke up because I heard a kitchen cabinet slam. Another time I heard a woman's footsteps in the kitchen. Once there was someone walking around on the front porch. Thought perhaps this all must be my imagination. Then one night I had friends and family over for dinner. One guest who lost his keys started a pretend séance asking for his keys back. There were three knocks on the wall behind me. My brother got up to see if his wife who had gone upstairs needed anything. She said she was fine. The ''seance'' started up again and my brother's eyes and mine met heads nodding when we heard the knocking a second time. Last Saturday afternoon a friend was sitting on my recliner while I sprawled out on the couch.
