Billerica, Massachusetts Ghost Tales In my grandmothers house I have had my hair tugged, heard my name being called, and have woke at about 2-3am to someone tapping & rubbing my leg. I could actually see the blankets moving where there was no hand touching them!! needles to say, since she passed away in may, I try not to sleep there!!!! I think this stuff happens more than people admit. But oh yeah, Billerica has plenty of ghostly going on's....... Although it was extremely disconcerting, I feel it is my grandfather and I shrug it off. Submitted by Sarah In my house, my dog's presence is still about, irritating my new animals. they will bark, attack, and squeal in areas where my dog used to lie about, although it has been years since his death. My grandfather has been seen walking around the house and leaving scents of his cologne and the nursing home he lived in as he goes. A woman in a white nightgown       has been seen walking in my hallways at night. She is a friendly spirit, and we assume she is the old woman who lived here before us, who was said to be very kind. there is a watching man, he looks around the dining room and into the living room. I felt his presence a few times, as though someone was watching me, and a few days later my brother claimed   he saw someone watching him from around the dining room while he was in the living room. I have also heard a little girl crying, and calling my name and saying goodnight. Sounds of a dog going down the stairs have been heard when the house is empty. My closet doors open on their own on occasion, and lights will turn on and objects seem to relocate themselves. however, I dont feel there are any dark forces in my home, rather I feel that most are gaurdians to me and I dont often fear them.
