Billerica, Massachusetts Ghost Tales Updating from my last post, I have recently heard footsteps upstairs when everyone was in bed. Although it was extremely disconcerting, I feel it is my grandfather and I shrug it off. Submitted by Sarah In my house, my dog's presence is still about, irritating my new animals. they will bark, attack, and squeal in areas where my dog used to lie about, although it has been years since his death. My grandfather has been seen walking around the house and leaving scents of his cologne and the nursing home he lived in as he goes. A woman  in a white nightgown has been seen walking in my hallways       at night. She is a friendly spirit, and we assume she is the old woman who lived here before us, who was said to be very kind. there is a watching man, he looks around the dining room and into the living   room. I felt his presence a few times, as though someone was watching me, and a few days later my brother claimed he saw someone watching him from around the dining room while he was in the living room. I have also heard a little girl crying, and calling my name and saying goodnight. Sounds of a dog going down the stairs have been heard when the house is empty. My closet doors open on their own on occasion, and lights will turn on and objects seem to relocate themselves. however, I dont feel there are any dark forces in my home, rather I feel that most are gaurdians to me and I dont often fear them. Submitted by anonymous While the sun is up the residents in Billerica, Massachusetts do what they do exactly the same as anywhere else, but this neighborhood has a quite good proportion of ghosts. Chairs move about, cries coming from nothing. Skeptics don't trust in the local phantom reports, but the stressed souls of Billerica are all too real. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A womanly figure may be witnessed repeatedly obliterating a map in Ackerson Playground at midnight. Local people declare that this spirit could be a distinguished former time local of Billerica. The phantom of a woman having demonic signs engraved into her arm has now and then been made out searching for a box in the middle of Beaver Brook. The phantom of a lady with a knife in her heart is from time to time made out in the rear seat of a Buick by the driver seeing the phantom in her rear view mirror before sunrise. One thing's for sure, this spirit sure is chilling; one that any rational person wouldn't want to meet. A woman having the head of a goblin has allegedly been noticed on one or two instances by a person fishing by a lake in close proximity to Billerica. A man who lives here declares that this ghost is possibly the struggling ghost of a resident who used to have a house here in Billerica. A female grasping her head beside her arm may every now and then be noticed resting in a chair in a mobile home in Billerica. The spirit of a youthful lady dressed in a bloody dress has regularly been spotted at Silver Lake Town Beach clutching a skull. A decapitated female has been said to have been made out on one or two instances sobbing surrounded by the bushes of Billerica State Forest. The ghost of a teenage girl may frequently be observed gazing up on Ames Hill. Any which way, this is a hostile ghost that you shouldn't go seeking.
