Comment by Abby: I am planning a visit to the homestead. Does anyone have any suggestion or information on the best places to search for paranormal activity? Any help would be appreciated.
Comment by Christopher: I find this place to be fascinating. I'm new to the north shore and would like to visit and investigate it myself.

After finishing up dinner and drinks at the tavern in Danvers Square, my dear friend Mathew suggested we go and find something interesting to do. ''Like what?'' I asked, and he in turn replied ''let's go on a ghost hunt. '' ''Cool!'' I thought ''what a great Idea!'' We both got in the car and started driving to the unnamed location. While on our way, Mathew began to mention that our destination was the Rebecca Nurse Homestead built in the late 1670s. He also added that it is a hot spot for ghostly activity. I'm not from the area, I'm a southern gal, so I was unaware of any such place.
We drove for a couple miles, and suddenly Mathew turned off the car headlights as we turned right into a long dirt road. Wow, what a dark and foreboding place. I began getting goose bumps as we slowly drove up the long dirt road to the main buildings of the property. We parked the car near an old wooden fence. It was dead quiet as the two of us got out of the vehicle. Quietly closing the car door I walked around to meet Mathew at the rear of the car where he gave me a flashlight. I had the worst case of goose bumps I have ever had while following close behind Mathew with my eyes and ears on high alert for any sign of movement.
