My friends who'd been there before told us to go up on the blocks and stand next to the statues. They told us we would feel something strange if we did. We hesitated not wanting to be disrespectful but then curiousity got the better of us and we went up there.
Well it was the most bizarre experience of my life. I felt the strangest sensation come over me like a part of me was going far away. It was a pull from within almost like the feeling you get

just before you faint.
None of us fainted or felt sick that day. We leaped down off the blocks after a minute because it was just too strange. The

feeling disappeared as soon as we did. We were kids so we did not dwell on this but just looked at each other puzzled did a few nervous giggles and went back to our walk.
It's been almost 40 years but I never forgot this event.

My cousin and I decided (as a joke) to contact the spirits. It was around noontime and the window was open. I closed the blinds and curtains and shut off the lights the room was lit by five candles. We had attempted five times to contact a spirits (unsuccessfully) until I had a bad feeling.
