Custom Search Edgartown, Massachusetts Ghost Sightings   We stayed at a House on the intersection of school Street and high Street in Edgartown for 2 weeks in July 2010. I Felt very uneasy in the House at night after everyone else was asleep (i am usually the last one to bed). Then one night I was talking to my husband who was facing the staircase in the parlor and he sat up straight in his chair and said there is a ghost. Very matter-of-factly. He is not at all the type of person     who has shown any interest in ghosts before. He said it was a woman. He Only saw her from the waist down but she was tall and slim and had on White pedal-pusher type pants with red flowers on them. I find it remarkable that my husband described the clothes in such detail since he barely notices what I'm wearing! The House is supposedly built at least in part in the late 1600s but by her dress this seemed like a 20th Century woman. Maybe 1950s style dress.
