Family friends used to live in a very old house near the water. (I'm not giving the location because someone currently lives there and they deserve their privacy. ) The family lived in the house from roughly 1980 to 2011. A friend came to their door one day and asked if they had a daughter. When they said they didn't he said that while standing on the family's basketball/tennis court he saw a little girl staring down at him from the third floor. The family

a teenager then) was having a sleepover with a friend up in the room where the ghost had allegedly been standing in. Suddenly he woke up in the middle of the night. He saw a little girl sitting at a desk near the bed. He was confused but clearly not that concerned because he fell right back to sleep. When he woke up his friend told him that he'd woken up to find a little girl sitting at the desk. He had figured that he was either dreaming or that his
