The picture is of the old Howland Cemetery (1846) we have seen dark figures hovering in the woods over this spot on the way to the camp and maquan pond for a swim in the late afternoon on many occations as children, and more recently in a vehicle. Quite a few years ago somone swimming in the pond was surprised to find a rib cage attached to thier ankle as they came out of the water.
