Early one Sunday morning around June 1995 in a duplex in Hopedale MA. Sun was up, but I was tired and lolling around in bed. In walked my friend who had died a few months before. She picked up a quilt from a far corner of the room, shook it out, folded it, and put it beneath my head and shoulders as a comfortable pillow. I fell into a deep sleep, woke up, and got out of bed around 11 am. The quilt was where she put it on my bed. Not scary just weird.|

When I was younger we lived in a duplex in Hopedale down the road from he Draper Factory. At the end of our backyard was a 'ravine' with a set of old railroad tracks that leads into the factory. One day I was playing in the yard and near the edge, where you could go down and then over a hill to get to a field. I looked down and saw a trolley car filled with 6 or 8 people in old time dress from the late 1800s or early 1900s. It was a mix of men and women.
I still remember the one woman looking up at me with next to no emotion on her face and the trolley continued on its way. I remember thinking there was some kind of festival. I told my mom who looked at me funny. There was no festival, the gates were locked going into the mill. There was no way or reason why there should have been a trolley or anything on those tracks. .
