He would knock on the closed bedroom doors and you would hear him walk up and down the stairs to the third floor. The most startling proof of howard's existance cam when my sister-in-laws boyfriend was spending the night and he was alone upstairs watching TV. He heard someone walk up the stairs and open the door. The only problem was     that my sister-in-law is an avid Reader and had a clothes basket full of books that was easily 20 pounds blocking the door. There was no way that door should have moved. It opened no one came in and then it closed. Her boyfriend was 6'3'' and tough as nails but you never saw someone come running down the stairs in a blistering spped and whiter than a sheet in your life.
