Many years ago there was a bunch of us that all hung out late at night called the power lines in North Oxford. We would build a fire drink beers etc. After awile when it got quiet you could here dogs barking.
People always said the barking came from an old farm. Called 'lucas farm''! The story went way up in the hills by clara Barton campgrounds was a farm where one of the kids had axed his parents to death.

It sounds a little like Lizzy Borden but it was a true story that most noth Oxford people still talk about.
