Quincy, Massachusetts Ghost Tales

In the 1960's we lived in a house on Henry Street in Quincy the lady that owned the house before us moved in a house behind us, years later she died and then returned to our home!!!! I was 4 years old and remember seeing her dressed in black coming down the stairs standing in front of our french doors while my mother and father we entertaining guests, her name was Mrs Cummings, she was a very evil lady who wanted to be still the lady of the house. she changed my mother hand writing, you could here her talking late into the early morning hours. we finally had a priest come in and try to bless our  
    home, he informed my mother that there were several sprits in our home and we should move!!! And so that's what we did. me and my brothers returned to our old house to check things out and we noticed
  in the window the new owners have somekind of evil spirt object hanging from a window outside. well i hate to tell them that she is inside the house to stay.

Not everything in Quincy, Massachusetts is as it seems; this municipality has creepy riddles veiled in the shadows. Things happen around here that cannot be explained. Not everyone trusts in the descriptions the folks who live here tell, but not all of the natives of Quincy are really alive.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

A lady's body having a rat's
head has often been seen in Adams National Historical Park on a dark night burying a body by a sizeable rock. A number of of the residents allege this ghost may be the soul of a local person who passed on here in Quincy a long time ago.

A man having the head of a goblin is regularly seen devouring a steak on the peak of one of the hills in the Blue Hill Range after midnight.

A lady burning, clutching a gasoline bottle has allegedly been noticed on frequent occasions late at night glancing over Broad Meadows.

The ghost of a planter sporting a worn hat may regularly be seen watching television in a Quincy living room before sunrise.

A young-looking girl wearing a bloody wedding gown can be perceived over and over again trying to hide a body in Arnold Meadow very late at night. In any event, it's a creepy ghost that should be let alone.

A guy having a sword in his head has every now and then been seen gazing at the water by Blue Hills Reservoir Dam at midnight. Whatever people state, it is unquestionably a scary ghost that is preferably not disrupted.

The ghost of a delivery man is sometimes witnessed going through garbage cans on a Quincy avenue. According to the local residents, this phantom may very well be a well-known days gone by resident of Quincy. Anyhow, this is an unsympathetic ghost that you would not want to meet very late at night.

A feminine figure has allegedly been seen on a small number of occasions in Chapel Rocks at the stroke of midnight howling. Based on what the local residents claim, this ghost is the undead spirit of a long forgotten Quincy person who lived here.

The phantom of a woman with words carved into her arm can now and then be observed down beside Pakomet Spring at night looking. Many folks who live here argue this spirit is the spirit of a visitor that was killed while passing through Quincy in the past.

The spirit of a woman with a switchblade in her chest was seen struggling to express something up on the summit of Academy Hill. Many people close by have had matching incidents with an almost identical ghost.

A female having the head of a leprechaun showed up taking a midnight swim at Carson Beach. This ghost is enormously active in this vicinity; there have been a few additional accounts of this individual ghost.

The ghost of a man with half his head absent was perceived down next to the water at Bass Point startling people. This is one of those ghosts that is noticed repeatedly in the neighborhood.

The ghost of a young lady sporting a blood-splattered wedding gown came into view screaming people's names at the shore at Lake Holbrook. The observer ran off right after he saw the ghost. In any event, it's a menacing spirit that any reasonable person wouldn't want to run into.
