Rutland, Massachusetts Ghost Tales

Okay, I've never seen any ghosts but when I used to live there I could swear that my grandmother and, I believe, her uncle was there watching me and my family.

There's not a single thing outlandish regarding Rutland, Massachusetts in the daytime, but there are ghosts in this town, and they come into sight in the dark hours. The ghosts of this town don’t leave anyone unscared. Not everyone has faith in the reports the local residents tell, but terrifying things unquestionably take place here in Rutland during the night time.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

The ghost of an airplane pilot has once in a while been perceived standing by a deserted road near Rutland.

The frightening ghost of a conquistador is from time to time perceived taking pleasure in the surroundings at Asnacomet Pond Dam at midnight.

A scary skeleton has allegedly been perceived on several occasions in Oakham State Forest in the early morning hours axing down
 
    a high tree. Anyhow, it's a creepy phantom that you shouldn't go trying to locate.

A glowing human person may now and then be made out scrambling out of Blood Swamp drenched in mud late at night. According to what the folks who live here declare, this ghost is the tormented spirit of a long dead Rutland local resident.

The ghost of a
  youthful gentleman having on a coat was perceived glancing at the vista from the apex of Asnebumskit Hill around midnight. The ghost acknowledged the presence of the bystander.

A headless man was witnessed mounted on a low rider on a gloomy road in close proximity to Rutland. When the ghost was made out it faded away into the thin air.

The spirit of a surgeon with a blood-splattered uniform showed up next to Barre Falls at the stroke of midnight reading a book. The ghost was consumed by the night after being made out.

The phantom of a man grasping a bloody knife was distinguished in a Rutland trailer. Panic stricken by the onlookers the spirit receded into the darkness.

A military uniform pacing around lacking a body in it was spotted in the early morning hours before sunrise floating along Asnebumskit Brook. When made out the ghost came close to the onlooker who then ran off.

The ghost of a civil war fighter has frequently been seen screaming by the shore at Bryant Pond.

The phantom of a dreadfully charred
lady is repeatedly seen looking in Bailey-Prouty Playground at night. Lots of people who live here say this ghost is that of a local who resided here in Rutland many years ago.
