Swansea, Massachusetts Ghost Tales

My husband and I were visiting friends of ours at their house in ''the Grove''. The husbands were in the basement looking at a table that needed fixing when myself and the other wife decided to join them. When I got to the bottom  of the basement stairs I joined the conversation and was interupted by breathing on the back of my neck, sending chills through my body, followed by an angry and clear warning to ''get out!'' I turned to my friend and asked to repeat what he said, knowing I distinctly heard a man's voice and knkowing it wasn't my husband's. He said he didn't say anything and asked what I had
heard. The wife them chimed in saying, ''see, I told you something's down here. You heard it too,  didn't you?'' Well, I quickly flew up the stairs and went back into the living room, which was then filled
with cigarette smoke, and no one smoked. Needless to say, we soon went home and did not return.
