Some of the dead and buried decline to pass on in this settlement. People who have never spent the night in this settlement will inform you it's lies, but the spirits of Templeton are out tonight trying to find someone to frighten. These are some of the spooky things that have happened       here recently. An old knight's armor devoid of a human inside has purportedly been made out on a small number of instances down next to the shore at Cook Pond devastating a glove. Lots   of people who live here declare this ghost is the undeceased soul of a long departed Templeton person who lived here. The ghost of a lady with a bag tied around her head can every so often be perceived flying over the Burnshirt Hills around midnight. A large frightening ghost was made out shouting at a bush in Hubbardston State Forest in the early morning hours before sunrise. There are further accounts with reference to this spirit in the area. Locals here who have observed this ghost assert this ghost is the ghost of a traveler that was murdered while journeying through Templeton before the present. The ghost of a strapped up gentleman showed up throwing chunks of concrete into the current at Bailey Brook in the early morning hours. Numerous sightings of this ghost have been reported. People here assert that this spirit is that of a local person who lived here in Templeton in the past. In any event, this ghost indisputably is frightening; one that should be left alone. The ghost of a hobo was distinguished at Baldwin Water Supply Pond Dam late at night looking at the scenery. This phantom is very active in this vicinity; there have been several additional stories of this specific phantom. A local claims that this ghost loves startling foolhardy folks who come looking for ghosts in Templeton. The ghost of an old witch was seen looking for a person in Baldwinville Village Historic District on a dark night. This is one of those spirits that is observed very frequently in the vicinity. One of the locals determinedly asserts that this ghost can be the soul of a resident who passed away here in Templeton long ago.
