West Yarmouth, Massachusetts Ghost Tales I believe my home is haunted with more than one spirit. Strange occurances have happened liked toys with no batteries in them going off, shadow figures walking into our rooms, ojects relocating themselves(keys and other small items), lights going on and off by themselves, and much more. From my personal research in regards to the paranormal.....it appears that a high water table and high electric magnetic feilds (like our military base) can be a heaven for spirits. (The cape has both as well as minerals in the sand that alledgely have effects) Basically I am curious if the Cape is a hot bed of activity....especially with all the history....alot of it grim. Anyone out there with answers? Anyone with stories similiar. Spirits are so normal in this town; loads of locals don’t even lose sleep about it any longer. Not everyone believes in       the reports the locals tell, but a trip to West Yarmouth, Massachusetts will make anyone believe. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a youthful Indian combatant can occasionally be seen hanging in the air like a hot-air balloon in West Yarmouth. One thing's for sure, this   is a nasty ghost that you would not want to run into after midnight. The spirit of a muscular lumberjack holding a sizeable axe has often been observed in a grocery store in the West Yarmouth vicinity. A terrifying skeleton is regularly seen terrifying people in John F Kennedy Memorial around midnight. Anyhow, it's a bloodcurdling ghost that any sound person wouldn't want to bump into. A gentleman that turned into a vampire has supposedly been witnessed on a handful of occasions pushing orbs about at Bass River Beach. The ghost of a pregnant woman may be perceived often trying on a hat in a West Yarmouth mobile home. A headless guy has sometimes been noticed in Bass Creek staring irritably at the viewer. In any case, it is unquestionably a bloodcurdling phantom that you shouldn't go trying to locate. The ghost of a doctor with a blood-covered uniform has been spotted on numerous instances crawling out of a storm drain on a West Yarmouth residential street late in the night. A female with her head and left arm and right leg chopped off can from time to time be made out at Barnstable Harbor on a dark night going mad.
