Robie Rd in Bristol has its share of ghosts, but they're nice. My feeling is that the farmer Herbert Robie who so loved the place, just never wanted to leave. He still watches over his house. He was seen in the form of a shadowed out line by 4 people. The people who saw him were looking out the window at a friend of theirs who was tending a bond fire, when the friend came in side they asked who else had been out by the fire with him, no one he replied. There was no explanation other than Herbert. Also in the house before renovations moved the old stairs, every morning at 4:30am heavy labored foot steps could be heard coming down the stairs. ( this is the time Herbert would have been going to milk the cow, he didn't believe in changing the clocks so depending on the time of year the time changes. Lastly in times of stress foot steps can be heard passing the floors upstairs, this however is thought to be Marion, Herbert's wife, or perhaps another former tenant.
