The ghost of a man dressed in a police uniform was perceived in Beech Hill State Forest after midnight shouting at a rock. When perceived the ghost came near the watcher who then ran away. It's been said that this particular ghost enjoys startling unwise people who come seeking ghosts in Gilsum. The ghost of a security guard with a bullet hole in his forehead has repeatedly been made out cleaning a blood-splattered pair of pants in Beaver Brook Falls late at night.
