A guy with no head has supposedly been distinguished on several instances pulling a dead body from the cold water of Beards Creek late in the night. An exceptionally chilling ghost can often be noticed stopping by Fort Rock late at night. It's been declared that this specific ghost might be a recognized days gone by dweller of Newmarket. Anyhow, it's a terrifying ghost that you don't want to encounter late at night. The spirit of an elderly gold digger with a sizeable mustache and a hook instead of his hand can be seen very often cutting down a high tree in The Oaklands at the stroke of midnight. Based on what the residents say, this ghost is almost certainly the undeceased ghost of a local person who used to have a house here in Newmarket.
