Night hour is undeparted time around here. Several locals argue these stories are untrue, but Whitefield is bursting with undeceased souls just waiting to freak you out. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a guy having names carved into his leg was made out crying at Airport Marsh Dam before sunrise. Several accounts of this spirit have been described. The ghost of a train driver has repeatedly been seen shouting up on the summit of Beech Hill. One thing's for certain, this ghost sure is menacing; one that you do not want to encounter late in the night. The ghost of a seriously mangled huntsman       dragging a dead mountain lion is repeatedly witnessed attempting to express something down next to the waterfront at Ammonoosuc River Reservoir. A lot of folks who live here claim this ghost is most likely the tormented ghost of a resident who used to reside here in Whitefield. The ghost of a youthful lady with a wire around her neck has supposedly   been made out on one or two instances struggling up from a storm drain on a Whitefield avenue in the early morning hours. People who have perceived this phantom assert this phantom is the undeceased spirit of an old Whitefield person who lived here.
