The ghost of a bound up lady can occasionally be seen in a building right next door to Absecon. Local people claim that this ghost likes frightening unwise folks who have the nerve to disrupt the quiet in Absecon. A female gripping her head under her arm was witnessed in an Absecon area store, strolling the aisles. The witness became frightened and fled. The spirit of a gentleman having half his head not there became visible dining on a tomato by Little Panama. The ghost didn't appear to be agonized by the watchers. A resident declares that this spirit loves frightening foolhardy people who come searching for spirits in Absecon. A beheaded female was distinguished taking a rest at the dining table in an Absecon mobile home sipping root beer. When the ghost was observed it faded away into the night.
