There was snow on the ground and we started talking... Sooner or later we heard this very strange and odd noise coming up the road... It sounded like a horse running up the road... we were so scared.. but we still kept talking... (whispering pretty much) Then, a little while AFTER that, we heard it come even closer and it sounded like a person     on the horse... And we have heard of the headed horseman....
