The spirits come out at night, at the Colts Neck Fire house, but they are never seen. The lights will go out then back on, voices are heard (whispers, then a loud mumble), then a big bang, but when investigated, nothing is ever found. When firefighters are asked about these things they always reply ''We don't know for sure, but it is possible they are our former brothers, who have served here in the past.''.
