I had two friends over and we were talking about ghosts. Well the one friend is from Hawaii where they apparently feel very strongly about ghosts. She insisted that all old houses like this have ghosts in the attic.
I told her I've never seen anything in the attic (I guess I'm lucky to not see ghosts! ) but she insisted on it. I insisted that though there was a ghost in the living room downstairs I'd never heard of a ghost in the attic and a lot of

my things are stored there and I go there often.
So she was so scared at this point that I and my other friend told her to check it out herself.

When we finally got her up the steps she started shaking and crying and pointing to the corner asking us didn't we see her? Didn't we see the older lady sitting there in that rocking chair in the corner? The lady with the white hair saying hello.
She said that the old lady was beautiful and said that the ghost was friendly and that she felt like the ghost was telling her that she (the ghost) was here to watch over us. (I thought maybe it was my grandmother?
