Flemington, New Jersey Ghost Tales Ever since my twin and I were young we have seen many ghosts while living in F A Apartments which is located across the street from a graveyard. We have seen youg girl with long black hair standing on the sidewalk across from the graveyard watching cars pass. We have heard voices calling to us, but couldn't clearly make out what they where saying. Things take place in this place that can't be given an explanation. People who have never stayed for the night in this town will surely tell you it's all just superstition, but if you dare to stay an extra day in Flemington, you may well catch a glimpse of a ghost for yourself. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a man clothed as a handy man may every now and then be distinguished taking a rest at the kitchen counter in a Flemington home. A       woman with a somewhat see-through body has regularly been seen at Rockefellows Mills Dam at the stroke of midnight attempting to capture something. The ghost of a security guard with a bullet hole in his forehead is regularly witnessed staring at folks in a Flemington trailer through a peephole. Many residents argue this ghost may well be a   renowned former time native of Flemington. One thing's for sure, it's a bloodcurdling ghost that is rather not disrupted. The ghost of a man wearing an army outfit has supposedly been seen on frequent occasions on the water's edge of Echo Lake scaring people. Either way, it's sure a terrifying ghost that you don't want to meet before dawn. A female with a machete sticking out of her head may frequently be spotted surveying the surroundings from the top of Cushetunk Mountain at the stroke of midnight. In any event, this ghost sure is chilling; one that you shouldn't go looking for. A knight's armor devoid of a human being inside may be seen repeatedly at the stroke of midnight floating down on Allerton Creek. A partially transparent gentleman outfitted as the captain of a liner has sometimes been distinguished in a secluded area near Flemington. The ghost of a young-looking gentleman dressed in a confederate uniform is sometimes perceived screaming at the watcher to go away in Capoolong Wildlife Management Area late at night. No matter what people express, it's a menacing ghost that should be let alone.
