North Arlington, New Jersey Ghost Tales There's an apartment building on Exton Ave. I lived at when I was young girl that is very haunted. I would wake up every morning, very early before anyone else had arose, and see a family standing in my bedroom doorway. They consisted of a man and woman, and 2 children. They were dressed in 19th century clothing which, as young as I was, didn't know anything about yet. Also, a woman would stand in front of my mirror brushing her hair with my brush. I actually got the courage up one morning and asked her who she was. She turned to answer me and threw my brush at me. I went under the covers and eventually fell asleep. When I awoke my brush was next to my bed broken. I saved that brush for years. Many other things happened to me in that room. I have always wondered about all those ghosts that haunted that room. It's been 38 years since. I visit North Arlington, due to family and have been past the apartment many times, but have never stopped by. Over the past few years I have played with the idea of contacting Ghost Hunters. If the things that       used to happen to me are still going on, it would be the proof of the century. Submitted by samantha Superficially North Arlington, New Jersey appears like an average town, but if you are easily frightened,   you'd better steer clear of this town during the night. The phantoms of this municipality don’t leave anyone unterrified. A number of locals claim these reports are untrue, but there in fact are chilling things occurring here in North Arlington during the night time. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a flight attendant is repeatedly distinguished up on Laurel Hill carving a gap. The phantom of an elderly cleaning lady has supposedly been seen on frequent instances in the center of Ackermans Creek stacking pieces of wood. The spirit of a young-looking woman clad as a house keeper may be observed repeatedly in a North Arlington apartment. The ghost of a destitute guy has now and then been noticed late at night creeping out of Eight Day Swamp drenched in mud. Locals allege that this phantom is the undeparted soul of a former North Arlington resident. A terrifying creature is rumored to have been observed on several occasions at Droyers Point very late at night staring down into the water. No matter what people verbalize, it's a scary ghost that you shouldn't go seeking.
