Sayreville, New Jersey Ghost Tales There are railroad tracks that cross over Washington Road. If you walk them towards Jernee Mill Rd. there is a gated area on your left. There are about three entrances into the gated area from the tracks and one inside that leads to the woods I believe; two entrances and holes in the gate. The first entrance can be seen when you first walk up to the area. The hole is at the end, near the second entrance. The other hole is inside just about across from the second entrance. I walked these tracks on a cloudy day and on my way back it looked like it was going to rain soon. As I was came to the gated area I saw a figure in a blue poncho walking a dog. I couldn't see the face since it had its hood up and was looking down. When I walked toward the figure it walked off the tracks and into the gated area. When I went past, I saw the figure staring down and not moving. It had no face, just blackness. There was also nothing I could see holding the leash, no body parts. There was no opening it could've walked through. When I walked past it I kept looking       back but the figure never came out of the woods. . It reminded me of the eyes in amatiyville horror movie I never ran so fast in my life. It was in the woods behind   the sayreville war memorial high school. I was a teenager then it was in the summer time in the late 80s early 90s I will never forget that.
