Comment by anonymous: Crazy but I think you may be talking about my grandmother Grace! Was this on Main Street (next to Haag Street)? The date is correct. She lived across from the 'Borough Hall' town offices. She passed away in the living room. And to boot my uncle 'Buck' passed away upstairs in the late 60s/early 70s. My mother tells me stories about him still walking the place. Would love to hear more!.

I had an experience at shot in the dark the bar that used to be on Washington road. My boyfriend and I were sitting by ourselves on one side of the bar and the ash tray in front of us slided across the bar 6 inches at least.
I regret not asking the bartender if anyone else had experienced anything. The bar ended up closing within a year after that.|

Comment by anonymous: That bar was haunted.
Comment by Ryan: Just so happened to come across this. I was her boyfriend at the time and witnessed the ashtray glide on the bar also. I thought I was nuts until we both looked at each other like ''did you see that?''.
