Shrewsbury, New Jersey Ghost Tales My friend and I saw on two seperate occasions legs running in the presbyterian church located on the four corners section of Hwy 35 and Sycamore have. Also have had numerous EVPs in the graveyard there. As mentioned before about the ghost at mohawk pond, I heard a long time ago that a woman was killed there at the front part of the pond. Do not know how true that story is. Dark hour is undeceased time around here. Not everybody trusts in the stories the residents tell, but the things that happen here in Shrewsbury at night will shock you. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The menacing ghost of a Viking was noticed appearing frightening on the shore of Mohawk Pond. Numerous folks in the vicinity have had identical happenings involving an almost identical ghost. A       menacing skeleton was spotted in a Shrewsbury flat. This ghost is incredibly active in this neighborhood; there have been a few additional stories of this exact ghost. According to what the folks who live here declare, this phantom is probably the struggling phantom of a local who used to reside here in Shrewsbury. A guy that turned into a vampire   has often been witnessed by Eatontown Dam in the early morning hours staring at the water. A lot of residents say this spirit is the undeparted spirit of an old Shrewsbury resident. Regardless of what people articulate, this is an intimidating ghost that should be stayed away from. A shining human body is often perceived staggering alongside a wild road in close proximity to Shrewsbury. Folks here who have spotted this spirit say this spirit is the spirit of a vacationer that was killed while traveling through Shrewsbury in the past.
