Arecibo, Puerto Rico Ghost Tales A woman dressed in all black is constantly seen near a burned down house in a little place called Hato Viejo in Arecibo, it is said that she was a very sad woman back in the 20's, but when someone sees her she runs to the back of the house and mysteriously disapears... Submitted by anonymous A person would imagine that there's nothing atypical about Arecibo, Puerto Rico, but if you are easily scared, you'd better stay away from this town during the dark hours. Ghosts are so routine here; lots of local residents don’t even think about it any longer. Not everyone believes in the tales the local residents tell, but with so many ghosts in Arecibo you have a reasonably wonderful chance of noticing one if you spend the night here. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The spirit of a guy with the sign of the devil carved into his cheek can be seen frequently in Arecibo Centro Plaza very late at night pulling a dead body through some bushes. The ghost of a severely       mangled huntsman hauling a dead coyote has once in a while been noticed in Rio Grande de Arecibo excavating a hollow. Based on what the local residents allege, this ghost may be the soul of a local person who died here in Arecibo in the past. In any event, it's a frightening phantom that you don't want to bump into at midnight. The ghost of   a young female with a cord around her neck is from time to time seen trying to dump a dead body in Cienaga Tiburones after midnight. A man lacking a head is known to have been noticed on a small number of occasions examining Quebrada La Regadera in detail late at night. Regardless of what, it certainly is a chilling phantom that you shouldn't go trying to find. An enormously creepy ghost was seen eating a steak by the water at Punta Caracoles. The appearance of the bystander scared the ghost who then faded away. A lot of local residents declare this ghost may be a renowned former time resident of Arecibo. The phantom of an aged prospector with a sizeable mustache and an eye patch came into view struggling out of a storm drain on an Arecibo residential street very late at night. The ghost talked about revenging an assassination. The phantom of an old female clutching a pistol was observed examining the vista from the pinnacle of Rincon Grande at the stroke of midnight. The witness was terrified and escaped. One thing's for guaranteed, this ghost certainly is terrifying; one that should be kept away from.
