Thres this old sugar cane factory in Arroyo if u go in there at night it is a horrifing place. u can defenitly see souls wondering around. the factory has been out of service for more that 150 years but sometimes during the night u can still hear machinery go off and people talking and u can smell the sugar canes being prepared.lights go on and off when theres no light bulbs or electricity. spooky!!. I was raised in arroyo till I was 15 and moved to US its a wonderful place there is this story that our parents and grandparents and even teachers used to tell us about a bar in and area of Arroyo called Pitahaya where back in the day there was a lot of people that used to go there to dance and drink until one day a very handsome man walked in and it is said that u could hear like a big claw striking the floor as he walked. he called everybody's attention. it is said that one of the people at the bar looked behind him and

saw 2 big claws coming out of his shoe so they started screaming and running and when they looked back they say he had horns and a long tail it is said to be the devil himself. till this day that bar has never been open again. Submitted by Liz Categories: bar, man, devil

perhaps feel Arroyo, Puerto Rico is exactly identical to any other town, but this is a town where the undeparted wander the streets in the night time. Things happen around here that cannot be given an explanation. A number of folks who live here argue these accounts are lies, but Arroyo is bursting with struggling spirits just waiting to shock you.

A shape with a skeleton face having on murky robes can be made out very frequently looking at the waves near the water's edge at Balneario de Arroyo on a dark night.
A wandering ghost is now and then distinguished in Arrecife Algarrobo before sunrise verbalizing into the night.
The phantom of an airplane pilot has purportedly been spotted on one or two occasions on the pinnacle of Cerro Boca del Infierno in the early morning hours studying the landscape. Based on what the residents say, this phantom is that of a local person who existed here in Arroyo long ago.

once in a while be made out in Cancha Ernesto Vaquez Diaz before dawn sobbing. A lot of folks who live here allege this ghost loves startling foolish people who have the guts to interrupt the peace in Arroyo. Either way, it's a chilling ghost that is better not messed with.
