Barceloneta, Puerto Rico Ghost Tales | |
|
|
In 1983 I was catching land crabs near sector la Boca. It was 9:00 pm on the main road to barceloneta I noticed the body that was there at the little bridge was watching me, so I went to him and asked where are you going he replied 'I am going to town'. He was holding a pint of milk on his hand, so I said “I’ll be done here shortly. I’ll give you a ride”. So I packed my traps and said “Let’s go’’. I was heading to barceloneta on what people call the old road. I asked him if he wanted to go crabbing with me next week he said on left it’s ok, so I asked his name he said just call me the Indian. Barceloneta, Puerto Rico is a seemingly ordinary place as long
as the sun shines down, but stressed ghosts of long ago in this municipality don't appear to plan to go away. Things happen in this place that cannot be rationalized. A number of folks who live here declare
there are no spirits, but the undeceased souls of Barceloneta are all too real.
These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.
The spirit of a civil
war soldier was seen frightening folks in Complejo Deportivo at the stroke of midnight. When the ghost was seen it vanished into the night. According to the people who live here, this phantom is that
of a person who resided here in Barceloneta a long time ago. One thing is for guaranteed, it's a creepy ghost that should be steered clear of.
The ghost of a man having a word etched into his nose
has repeatedly been spotted shuffling orbs around by Cano Salado.
The ghost of a critically mangled hunter pulling a dead cougar is repeatedly distinguished heaving pieces of wood into the current
at Rio Grande de Manati after midnight.
A lady devoid of a head has been perceived on many occasions staring down into the water at Punta Boquilla at the stroke of midnight.
A gentleman
lacking a head can frequently be made out shouting at the viewer to be off next to a big tree in Cambalache State Forest. Well, it is unquestionably a bloodcurdling ghost that is preferably not disrupted.
An
incredibly chilling ghost may be perceived repeatedly tossing bricks down near the water's edge at Playa Mar Chiquita.
The ghost of an aged female grasping a rifle has from time to time been made
out staring at the vista from the top of Cerro Pelota very late at night. In any case, this ghost sure is frightening; one that you wouldn't want to run into late at night.
