Barceloneta, Puerto Rico Ghost Tales In 1983 I was catching land crabs near sector la Boca. It was 9:00 pm on the main road to barceloneta I noticed the body that was there at the little bridge was watching me, so I went to him and asked where are you going he replied 'I am going to town'. He was holding a pint of milk on his hand, so I said ?I?ll be done here shortly. I?ll give you a ride?. So I packed my traps and said ?Let?s go??. I was heading to barceloneta on what people call the old road. I asked him if he wanted to go crabbing with me next week he said on left it?s ok, so I asked his name he said just call me the Indian. Before town there was dirt road side he said drop me off here. Next week when I came back to pick him up I blew the horn several times, and this is 2;00 pm on a Saturday an old lady from a house next to where I left him came out and asked me who are you looking for. I said the Indian she replied back to no one lives there the guy that lived there died 3 years, so I got in my mustang and came out of there burning rubber and never went crabbing again       at night the ghost was tall skinny dark skin and straight hair. We would always walk around the town at that hour I never realize that that would be last time I would. We were passing by the place when we here the   this strange nosie come from behind us. My friend said it was a dog but I never in my life saw a dog like this . All I know that it was black and it look like a man dragging himself. I turned to my friend and said that I was going back home that I had this bad feeling in the pit of my stomach. I never went out at that hour again. A lot of ghost stories have been passed on by the folks who live here. People who have never stayed overnight in this settlement will tell you it's a pack of lies, but terrifying things certainly go down here in Barceloneta during the night time. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a guy with half his head absent is once in a while witnessed in Complejo Deportivo in the early morning hours before sunrise screaming people's names. A local person argues that this spirit is that of a person who had a home here in Barceloneta many years ago.
