There are varies phenomenon’s that have taken place in Cuyón in the past. It may have happen again. But only a few dare to walk the mountains and hills at night, and only a few dare speak of what they have seen. What I will share is what I’ve been told by those who have eyewitness these events. My father and Grandfather remember seeing an impossible creature one night. They were gathered outside and they heard heavy flapping of wings. They saw a large animal with a body of a man, birdlike wings and a bull’s head. It ended up landing in the field and it turned to look at them. It shrilled as it lifted

off and left them frighten and speechless. Many believe ghosts live among the residents of Cuyón, haunting by all means necessary. He remembered as a kid in their shack of a house. He was trying to sleep

and suddenly he heard noises up on the ceiling, as if someone was throwing rocks. He always willing to face danger stepped outside to investigate. He found a large river stone that fitted in the palm of his hand near the house which didn’t belong there. He searched and looked but there was no one present, but the stones kept heading his way. Breaking into the fragile ceiling and falling into the house. He grabbed one of the stones and marked it. He threw it back from whence it came. Suddenly when he entered the house and sat to eat some soup, a stone came crashing into the kitchen area. When he picked

up the stone it was the same he had marked. He swallowed hard, for he knew what was out there wasn’t human, for outside was pitch-black and there was no way a human could have found that very same stone
in the dark. Today many hear stones falling on their ceilings, but none dare come out to check it out, for they fear they would one day see the ghost that haunts them. . Submitted by Isabel
In
Cuyón, it’s been reported that while driving you may see a woman in a white cotton dress floating in mid air. A man once gave her a ride and when he looked toward the backseat she had disappeared. In
Santa Catalina, in the second floor of a house it’s been reported to have seen a German Shepard dog shape change into an old lady combing her hair. And when you try to near the ghost it disappears. . Submitted
