One evening he went to town to play dominoes, as he usually did on Friday nights. That evening the game has been extended and he left his friend around midnight. Since there were no cars back then, he had to walk home along the main road. On his way home he stoped to rest on a low bridge by the side of the road. When he got up again, he heard noises behind him.     When he looked back he saw a funeral procession heading his way. He decided to move to one side and let them pass, when he noticed that they were walking above the ground - suddenly realizing that there couldn't possibly be a funeral at that hour. He immediately jumped into the bushes and ran the rest of the way home. When he got there, he was so shaken that he could hardly speak.
