I took this picture with my phone in June 2009 and looked at it recently. There is a ghost in the window on the 2nd floor directly under the word Surf in Surf Hotel. I have zoomed all the way in on this image and it just becomes clearer. Creeeeeeeepy!.

My friends and I decided to rent a beach house this summer, June 2009, after graduating from high school. Initially, me and four of my friends were the first ones to arrive at the old farm house on Connecticut Ave. When the cab driver dropped us off at the house, the last words he said were, ''Be careful, it's a very old house. '' At the time, none of us really thought about what he had said, but we were soon to find out.
As we explored the house we began noticing how old it really was. There were extremely old paintings and the mirrors in the house were especially creepy. It was as if the house had not been redecorated in ages. We decided to check out the basement, however, halfway down the stairs I got the coldest feeling in my body I have ever felt. The basement reminded me of one that would be in a horror movie. The walls were simply huge stones pieced together and the floor was dirt, and there was very limited lighting. Apparently all my friends were getting the same cold vibe I was, so we immediately ran back up the stairs making

sure to bolt lock the door and place a chair in front of it. We all joked around about it, but deep down we were all pretty creeped out.
Later that day, one of my friends found an extremely old family picture so he took it off the wall to show it to us. The back of the picture revealed that it was the Dodge family from the mid 1800's. My friends

and I joked around about the picture and how it was just our luck we rented such an old home.
As the first day rolled into night, only me and two others were awake. I kept hearing noises throughout the house and my cold vibes began to return. My friends had been hearing freaky noises too, so we decided it would be best just to go to bed. Before we went to bed, though, I made sure to hang the family picture up back where we had found it.
Because we were all so creeped out, I shared a queen bed with two of my friends upstairs, and my other two friends slept in a bed downstairs. As we laid in bed, one of my friends tensed up and said, ''Oh my God! Did anyone else just see something in the corner of the room move?'' My other friend began freaking out because she claimed to see the same thing. I told them it was all in their heads and to just close their eyes, even though deep own I was more freaked out than ever. Soon after, my friend asked if we got a good look at the family picture. Just as he began saying how creepy the picture

looked, the floor fan in our room went crashing down to the ground leaving us all screaming. My friend soon got the courage to stand it back up, making sure it was secure, however, only a few minutes later it came crashing down again. At that, we all began to freak out. I grabbed my cell phone to call my friends downstairs, but for some reason my phone refused to let me make calls. Every time I went to dial someone, the * button on my phone was being repeatedly pressed down somehow, making it impossible to do anything on my phone. My friends' phones were across the room and they refused to move from the bed, so we never got the call them. We all remained in the bed for the rest of the night as we were to scared to get up.
