The ghost of a terribly mangled hunter pulling a dead deer has been noticed on a handful of instances consuming a carrot beside the water at Allen Neck. The phantom of a young-looking female with a line around her neck can regularly be spotted       smoking a pipe by Allen Ledge. An incredibly frightening ghost can be seen repeatedly floating by on Abbott Run after midnight. In any event, it's a chilling ghost that should be let alone. The ghost of an aged woman gripping a pistol has sometimes been seen by Sweedens Swamp reading a newspaper. Some of the folks who live in this town assert this ghost may be a recognized old days native of East Providence.
