I caught a voice on my tape recorder I even had conversations asking what year it was and it said it was 1883 it sounded like a young woman. When I go to bed the closet door would open on its own and the sink would turn on when know one is awake at night I knew as soon as I moved into this place something did not feel right it felt like I was being watched or followed I also had someone choke me one night when I was asleep I woke up and went to the bathroom and saw in the mirror that I had two and prints on my neck. Freaked out by the witnesses the ghost receded into the dark. Locals allege that this phantom likes scaring folks who come trying to find phantoms in West Warwick. The ghost of a young-looking lady with a rope around her neck was perceived sobbing in Apponaug Historic District at the stroke of midnight. When noticed the ghost came close to the observer who then ran away. One of the local residents strongly declares that this ghost can be the soul of a person who lived here who passed on here in West Warwick in the past.
