Woonsocket, Rhode Island Ghost Tales A ghost women that is totally dark black as night. Was staring at me for a few seconds then went down 3 steps and suddenly disappeared. Submitted by Bob       Category: lady I've seen a man about 6' walking across Manville Rd in Woonsocket. He has blue jeans, white t-shirt and sneakers. He also has brown hair. He just appears walking infront of you and you weave around so u wont hit him look back and he's gone. Everytime I see him walking I never see the front of him only his backside. Some of the dead and buried won't stay in their graves in this municipality. A number of locals say there are no ghosts, but not all of the dwellers of Woonsocket are breathing. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The       phantom of a female with a bag strapped around her head was observed in Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor at the park headquarters reading a magazine. Numerous folks nearby have had identical experiences with a quite similar ghost. One of the locals decisively asserts that this ghost could be the spirit of a local person who passed   on here in Woonsocket long ago. A partly translucent gentleman clothed as the skipper of a freight ship showed up at State Park Beach hauling a human cranium. This ghost is fantastically active in this area; there have been frequent other reports of this individual ghost. Well, it's a bloodcurdling spirit that should be kept away from. A sizeable bloodcurdling ghost was observed staring at an old man sleeping in an armchair in an apartment in Woonsocket. This is one of those ghosts that is perceived time and again close at hand. In any case, it certainly is a terrifying ghost that is preferably not messed with. The phantom of a bound up gentleman was observed at Blackstone Dam in the early morning hours taking in the view. The spirit was unconcerned that there was someone else there. The ghost of a street bum has often been perceived struggling to articulate something on the shore of Blackstone River Reservoir. Some of the residents declare this spirit may be a well-known old days inhabitant of Woonsocket. The spirit of an elderly hag is repeatedly made out flashing a light by Aldrich Brook. Whatever people express, this ghost undoubtedly is chilling; one that you wouldn't want to run into very late at night.
