Custom Search Barre, Vermont Ghost Sightings Ghost photos from Barre Barre PAGE 1   2   3   4   5     We bought the house(circa 1850)about 5 years ago. It's had Only 3 owners. The House is a small unassuming cottage and certainly not the typical haunt however we discovered we have a ghost dog. He's solid in appearance and even our visitors have thought he was real. His demeanor is quiet Friendly he pants and wags his tail in greeting and will follow you from the kitchen to the living room. We discreetly inquired about     the dog and came the conclusion he might have belonged to the previous owners. When he died they laid him to rest in the yard and we did find his bones while digging a small flower patch. The Odd thing is that our dogs have seldom reacted to his appearances other than a look his way or what seems to be the typical doggy greeting of sniffing. We rarely admit to anyone who sees him that he's not really in this world but because I seldom hear stories of domestic animal haunting's I thought the readers might find it interesting.
