A lady without a head can occasionally be made out up on Ball Hill yelling. A guy with no head was spotted struggling to utter something down beside Wymans Falls before dawn. When seen the phantom came       near the witness who then fled. Lots of local residents say this spirit is that of a local who dwelled here in Cavendish some decades ago. A fantastically scary spirit showed up in Hawks Mountain Wildlife Management Area after midnight pulling a cadaver across the dirt. This precise phantom has been witnessed frequently in this location. Folks   here claim that this ghost likes frightening folks who have the nerve to disturb the calm in Cavendish. Anyway, this is an intimidating ghost that any wise person would not want to come across.
