Since I have read this Story I might just go to this small town of Jamaica Vermont and look for the ghost of Green baker. All others that read this Story should to. Submitted by Powell       Category: I was recently reminded of a story told to me when I was young by my mother’s uncle, who had fought in World War II with a gentleman     from Jamaica, Vermont, who told him the story of The Ghost of Green Baker. I recall my great uncle being very convincing in his telling. It has been a long time so my recollection of details is sporadic, but I thought I would pass it along in case there is someone who may have a memory of it. From what I remember, there was a rail line that used to go through that area with a station in Jamaica. Green Baker was longtime station master, or ticket taker, or someone that worked in the station his entire life. If I remember correctly he was related to someone   (continued on the next page...)
