Me and my friend were walking up a road, when we heard a sound sounding like a chainsaw. We didn't think anything of it but then the sound got closer, and closer. We started to panic because out of the woods behind us. We freaked and ran home to tell my friend's parents, they didn't believe us one bit!!!!!!. Submitted by Olga

are so typical in this place; lots of residents don’t even fret about it any longer. Not everyone believes in the descriptions the residents tell, but everyone who lives in Rutland is not alive.

wedding gown was witnessed in a mirror in a Rutland mobile home; the ghost was solely visible in the mirror. The appearance of the witness startled the spirit who then vanished.

eleven foot tall colossal man became visible in a residence right next door to Rutland. The observer freaked out and fled. One of the residents confidently alleges that this spirit may be the spirit of a local who passed on here in Rutland in the past.
