A fluorescent human form has been observed on a handful of occasions conducting a directed trip of Birnies Nose to a party of ghosts at the stroke of midnight. The phantom of a young man in a coat may   every now and then be seen in the early morning hours staring over Marr Flat. Residents here who have observed this phantom assert this phantom is that of a local who dwelled here in Underhill before the present. One thing's for certain, this is an unsympathetic ghost that should be shunned. A headless gentleman was witnessed in Jericho Center Historic District late at night screaming names of people. When the onlooker materialized the ghost fled. A female with her left arm and right leg sliced off emerged showing up in a washroom mirror. The arrival of the bystander alarmed the ghost who then faded away. Folks allege that this ghost takes pleasure in scaring foolhardy people who are fearless enough to disrupt the tranquility in Underhill.
