2002 I had a weird experience while I was camping in France in a forest. We visited friends who have a house in a valley. People who want to stay for holidays there have to Camp on one of the three Levels in a forest.
My tent was at level one. Over me and next to me wasn't anybody. I was completely alone there. It was scarey but also very fascinating. Because I had no place for my tent rope (? Is that the right English

word? ) I put it at a Bush one level ahead of me so it was far away from the ground of level 1.
In the night I could listen to different

sounds. One was like something would fall from trees. It was away from me and always on the same place but than it came more closer to me. It sounded like foot steps but not regular footsteps.
There were long Breaks between every step. Than it was very close to my tent and I thought about the rope of my tent in the Bush ahead of me. It sounded like that what came closer to my tent chose that way to ''walk'' and I
