Felton, Delaware Ghost Tales Well I was out with some of my gang, and Jared, my brother, dares me to go into this wheat field,(there's a wheat field near High Street,) so I go into the field and at once start feeling pulled down the the ground, I look around and I saw shadows in the field, they were walking around and sounded like they were shouting at me, they went into the woods, and didn't come out, I got scared, and started going back, and I ran as fast as I could, I could have sworn I saw other shadows following me, if there's one thing I learned, it was that that place is haunted. Scores of ghost accounts have been reported by the residents. Several residents declare these descriptions are not true, but Felton is full of undeceased souls just waiting to terrify you. These are some of the spooky       things that have happened here recently. The armor of a medieval knight without a person inside appeared hurling pebbles into the flow at Beaverdam Branch in the early morning hours before sunrise. When observed the phantom came near the eye witness who then ran away. The ghost of a female with a bag tied around her head was   seen hauling a body across the ground in Delaware Department of Transportation Maintenance Area in the early morning hours. There have been numerous accounts with reference to this ghost in the area. A number of people claim this ghost is that of a person who settled here in Felton a long time ago. No matter what, it undoubtedly is a chilling ghost that you shouldn't go trying to locate. A big terrifying phantom became visible heaving chunks of concrete into Andrews Lake before sunrise. Further people nearby have had similar incidents involving an almost identical ghost. The ghost of a shackled up guy was made out looking at the landscape at Coursey Pond Dam around midnight. This ghost is very active in this vicinity; there have been one or two additional accounts of this individual ghost. The phantom of a young woman drenched in blood was seen suspended in the air like a hot-air balloon in Felton. This is one of those ghosts that is seen repeatedly close at hand. The spirit of an aged hag has repeatedly been seen struggling out of Big Cripple Swamp soaked in mud at night.
