Felton, Delaware Ghost Tales Well I was out with some of my gang, and Jared, my brother, dares me to go into this wheat field,(there's a wheat field near High Street,) so I go into the field and at once start feeling pulled down the the ground, I look around and I saw shadows in the field, they were walking around and sounded like they were shouting at me, they went into the woods, and didn't come out, I got scared, and started going back, and I ran as fast as I could, I could have sworn I saw other shadows following me, if there's one thing I learned, it was that that place is haunted. A lot of ghost accounts have been disclosed by the local residents. Folks who have never spent a night in this town will inform you it's lies, but anyone who has spent a night in Felton, Delaware knows better. A gentleman with the head of a goblin has once in a while been made out at Beaverdam Branch around midnight flinging chunks of concrete into the flowing water. A half decomposed human cadaver is every so often observed searching for a box in Delaware Department of   Transportation Maintenance Area at midnight. A lot of local residents allege this ghost is the ghost of a visitor that was killed while passing through Felton some time ago. The phantom of a planter having on a straw hat may occasionally be observed in a motor boat on Andrews Lake slurping paint. A youthful girl sporting a bloody prom dress has regularly been observed at Coursey Pond Dam before dawn smoking a pipe. No matter what people verbalize, this is an unpleasant ghost that is better not disrupted. A woman with a blue-green face is frequently perceived peeking through apartment windows in Felton in the early morning hours before sunrise. One thing is for guaranteed, it's a chilling ghost that you don't want to come across late in the night. A man with a spear in his head is rumored to have been perceived on a few instances in Big Cripple Swamp at midnight trying to dump a body. A man's body having the head of a pig can repeatedly be seen going through trash container on a Felton residential road. The ghost of a guy holding a sword can be observed frequently floating in the air like a balloon in Felton.
