Lewes, Delaware Ghost Tales The House next to the church on kings highway has been reported to be haunted by two separate tenants. My niece lived there and her roomate saw a child in the basement. One night while working I heard another employee talking about a haunted House she lived in and lo and behold it was the same one. She also reported ghost sightings. There is also a video of something (not human) climbing the Walls outside Beebe hospital. Security had the video but all of sudden it was all hush hush and no one was to talk about it. In the older part of the building people reported disturbances in their offices such as noises when no one else was around etc. Also there have been sightings in the basement of a Man pushing an iv pole. Submitted by Elizabeth       Categories: home, man, children, noises, church In Lewes by the canal my dad was working at a House cause you know he's a construction worker so why not and he started to hear people talking from upstairs so he went up knocked on the door, and asked       if anyone was there then the talking stopped suddenly and he opened the door and no one was in there. He went back down and it happened again but this time he left. This is also said if you spend the night there in the morning you will get the aroama of bacon. Weird lights in and around the water. I felt someone touch my back; it got really warm. If you go and build a fire it will burn so crazy, I have seen a few shadow people. Believe me it's haunted. It's surrounded by water why wouldn't it be! It's definitely unusual. It seems many of the businesses and apartments around Second St. are haunted according to the tour guide. Ghosts have been sighted in the window of the historic house across from the cannon balls on the canal. Also on King's Highway, I know of two different people that lived in a house next to the Presbyterian Church that had experiences. My friend lives on Franklin and thinks she has a ghost of a girl who died in the 70's by the name of Mona.
