Argyle, New York Ghost Tales There is a house on Salem street that is haunted. The Webster Family that lived there for 13 years reported seing a man walk up and down the stairs anytime he pleased. Also in one of the bedrooms a baby was crying and the Mr. Webster opened the closet door and saw a baby on the floor wraped in a blanket, the daughter reported waking up to a black cloud over her bed where a sick sweek emitted from it. Also all family members reported what apeared to be whisperings and calling out their names. On more than one occasion a man and an old woman would appear to the family. There where many unexplained occcurances such as noises and cold spots. Water faucets would turn on and off, lights would flicker. It was the most haunted house in Argyle. Some of the deceased decline to pass on in this town. A number of residents allege there are no ghosts, but Argyle is bursting with undeparted spirits just waiting to frighten you. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A female body was witnessed up on Barkley Mountain   chucking pebbles. When the bystander came into sight the ghost escaped. The ghost of a female having a word carved into her hand was distinguished by a guy camping at a campground near Argyle. The spirit spoke about revenging an assassination. Some of the residents say this ghost loves scaring people who are fearless enough to disturb the calm in Argyle. One thing is for certain, this spirit unquestionably is scary; one that any rational person wouldn't wish to bump into.
