There's not a thing odd on the subject of Arkport, New York while the sun shines, but this location has a fine quantity of spirits. Some of the departed refuse to stay in their graves in this town. People who have never spent the night in this town will inform you it's all myths, but with so many ghosts in Arkport you have a relatively nice chance of setting eyes on one if you stay for a few days around here.

These
 
    are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

The phantom of a young-looking guy sporting a leather jacket appeared looking across The Muck at the stroke of midnight.
  When the witness appeared the spirit ran off. A lot of people who live here say this ghost is the undeparted soul of a long departed Arkport person who lived here. Regardless of what people exclaim, this phantom undeniably is creepy; one that should be stayed away from.

A beheaded man was witnessed at Arkport Dam after midnight gulping soda pop. The ghost mumbled about avenging a murder.

A woman with her head and right arm and right leg amputated was made out smoking a pipe mid stream in Big Creek. The observer freaked out and ran off. One thing is for certain, this is a bad ghost that
is rather not disrupted.

The spirit of a man clutching a bloody axe has repeatedly been noticed up on the pinnacle of Bald Hill reading a magazine. Local people say that this ghost is the ghost of a visitor that was killed while passing through Arkport some time ago. Anyhow, it's a chilling ghost that you wouldn't wish to encounter after midnight.

The ghost of a civil war warrior has supposedly been witnessed on a few instances hauling a body across the dirt in Moraine Park late in the night. A local woman argues that this ghost is that of a local resident who settled here in Arkport long ago.

The ghost of a seriously burned female may be observed often in Hungry Hollow around midnight grasping a skull. One of the folks who live here determinedly asserts that this ghost gets pleasure from terrifying foolish folks who dare to interrupt the tranquility in Arkport.
