The phantom did not appear to be worried by the viewers. A man with an axe in his head was seen smoking a pipe up on the top of Crozier Hill. The ghost waved to the observer. One of the people who live here strongly declares that this ghost loves frightening foolhardy folks who are bold enough to interrupt the calm in Bellona. A gentleman's body having the head of a bear was made out by a woman hiking along a trail near Bellona. The phantom was gobbled up by the thin air after being made out. Several of the folks here allege this phantom can be the spirit of a local who died here in Bellona in the past. In any event, it sure is a chilling ghost that you would not want to run into on a dark night.
